Stocks continued to melt upward last week, setting new highs as investors reacquainted themselves with risk. This, amid an escalation of bloodshed in eastern Ukraine and mixed economic data.

Major markets finished higher last week. The DJIA gained 0.67%, the S&P 500 rose 1.21%, and the Nasdaq climbed 1.36%. Small cap stocks jumped 0.74%. And the 10-year Treasury bond yield fell five basis points, finishing at 2.48%. Gold lost $42.83 per ounce, or 3.31%.
